PRODUCTION STARTS AFTER THE OVERHAUL BREAK AT LUKAVAC CEMENT
In Lukavac Cement, minor overhaul activities were undertaken to improve certain production processes, which is why the rotary kiln line was stopped.
On Tuesday, September 17, the restart of production will follow, and due to the heating of the rotary kiln, smoke will be seen from the factory, which is a normal phenomenon in this process, until the establishment of a warm operating mode.
The phenomenon itself does not have any harmful effect on people or the environment, because it is an established technological process of heating the rotary kiln, which is fully compliant with all applicable procedures for the protection of the working and environment. Competent institutions were informed about everything.
After the heating is completed, cement production normally continues.
