LUKAVAC CEMENT: PARTNER OF THE “100 BIGGEST IN BIH – ESG IMPULSE 2024” PROJECT
Last Thursday, October 26, 2024, representatives of Lukavac Cement participated in the “100 largest in BIH and the region – ESG Impulse 2024” conference which gathered the most successful businessmen and leading experts from BIH and the region. Our company has been supporting this important business event organized by Poslovne Novine for years.
The theme of the conference was ESG principles and their implementation, as well as investments by domestic companies to achieve and improve socially responsible and sustainable business.
Lukavac Cement is a factory that has been using alternative fuels for a long time and implements European principles of energy efficiency. Through various socially responsible projects, it encourages individuals and companies to take greater responsibility for the quality of life in the environment where we live.
At the awards ceremony, we received again valuable recognition for the results in terms of the activity by revenue we achieved in the past year, which was received by Stjepan Kumrić, our General Manager.
This is just one more indicator that we are one of the 100 leading companies in BIH and the region, but also one of the most modern European cement plants that constantly set higher standards in the field of innovation, social responsibility and sustainability.
