AFTER THE COMPLETED OVERHAUL, LUKAVAC CEMENT IS STARTING PRODUCTION
In the period October 13 – 25, 2023, Lukavac Cement completed planned overhaul activities on the hot part of the production line.
As part of the overhaul, work was performed inside the rotary kiln in order to further optimize the cement production process. Given that the newly installed materials dry out when the kiln is started, there is smoke until the warm mode of operation is established. It is an established technological process of heating and preparing the plant for the resumption of clinker production.
After the heating process is completed, production continues according to the plan.
