AFTER THE OVERHAUL BREAK, PRODUCTION STARTS AT LUKAVAC CEMENT
Ten days ago, minor overhaul activities were undertaken in Lukavac Cement to improve certain production processes causing the rotary kiln line to be stopped.
On Wednesday, August 21, the reboot of production will follow. Due to the heating of the rotary kiln, smoke will be seen from the factory, which is a normal phenomenon in this process until the setting up of a warm operating mode.
The phenomenon itself does not have any harmful effect on people or the environment, because it is an established technological process of heating the rotary kiln, which is fully compliant with all applicable procedures for the protection of the working and environmental conditions. Competent institutions are informed about everything.
After heating is completed, cement production normally continues.
