DELEGATIONS FROM VELENJE AND PLJEVLJE VISITED LUKAVAC CEMENT FACTORY
As part of multi-day working visit to Lukavac Municipality, guests from Slovenia and Montenegro – specifically, delegation from Velenje Municipality led by Mayor Peter Dermol and delegation from Pljevlje Municipality led by Mayor Igor Golubovic – visited the Lukavac Cement Factory.
It was a great pleasure to show them one of the most modern cement plants and present them the results of our work so far, as well as future plans.
The purpose of this working visit was to nurture friendly relations and improve cooperation, share good practices and experiences, as well as find opportunities to implement joint projects with the aim of creating a better environment in our local communities.
Representatives of the Management Board of Lukavac Cement also discussed on the topic of implementation of the “EU Green Deal” and energy and climate transitions in the EU and the Western Balkans together with the respective guests.
We are especially grateful to Edin Delic, the Mayor of Lukavac, on good organization of the visit and we congratulate him on winning the award for “best Mayor” which was recently handed over to him at the event “Business Leader” of Tuzla Canton.
