GREEN MILES: ALTERNATIVE FUELS AS A STEP TOWARDS DECARBONIZATION
An interesting and informative reportage on the use of alternative fuels in BiH was recently hosted by Osman Zukić, a journalist and co-author of the Doku.ba platform, which was published on Al Jazeera.
Emir Ćilimković, our manager for energy, environment and development, took part in the reportage and spoke about the experiences of Lukavac Cement, as the largest user of fuel from GIO waste. He pointed out that in addition to reducing methane emissions caused by landfilling waste, CO₂ emissions are greatly reduced, but it is necessary to invest in the best available technologies in this process.
This is certainly a recipe for the development of the economy, societies and companies.
