LUKAVAC CEMENT: AIR PROTECTION PROJECT CO-FINANCED BY THE FBIH ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION FUND

We care and invest intensively in environmental protection. We are currently implementing a project entitled “Improving air quality through enhancement of the system for continuous monitoring of air pollutant emissions, reporting and education”, which is co-financed by the Environmental Protection Fund of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal of the project is to improve the quality and continuity of measurements by installing a new analyzer for continuous monitoring of emissions of pollutants into the air at the chimney of the rotary kiln.

In cooperation with the local elementary school, eco workshops are planned including the activity of planting trees together. We strive to provide as much support as possible in educating the youngest fellow citizens and schoolchildren about the importance of environmental protection.

The expected total value of the project is about 360,000 BAM, out of which the Fund will allocate 140,000 BAM, while the planned timeline for implementation of all project activities is 7 months.
