LUKAVAC CEMENT AS A PLATINUM SPONSOR OF THE 13TH CONGRESS ON TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE AND TRANSPORT – ROADS
On September 19-20, the 13th CONGRESS ON TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE AND TRANSPORT – ROADS was held in Sarajevo. The event was organized by the Association of Consulting Engineers of BIH (UKI BIH) in cooperation with the European Union Road Federation (ERF), where our companies Lukavac Cement and Lukavac Beton also participated. Lukavac Cement was also a platinum sponsor of this important event.
The Congress brought together experts and scientists from various regions of the EU, representatives of non-governmental organizations, as well as representatives of government institutions.
At the very opening of the Congress, Amir Čakić, Sales and Logistics Manager at Lukavac Beton, spoke on behalf of our companies and emphasized that energy sustainability and a green future should be a common goal for everyone today.
At the Congress itself, it was pointed out that transport and traffic are the most important potential for faster overall (local, regional and global) development. We are constantly working on improving its development strategy which goal is a smart, safe, competitive, accessible and environmentally friendly transport system, because roads are one of the foundations of European integration and the overall development of European regions.
