LUKAVAC CEMENT HAS A NEW OWNER
Talentis International Construction Investments Kft. from Hungary is the new owner of Lukavac Cement. At the end of last week, the acquisition process, which lasted for several months, was officially completed and all conditions contained in the purchase agreement were successfully met.
Our factory was founded way back in 1974 and we will celebrate the big 50 years of our presence next year. Thanks to one of the most successful privatizations in BiH, since 2001 there has been a strong development and we have become a recognizable brand and a synonym for quality cement. With large investments in modern technologies, production capacities have been improved over the past 20 years, also several socially responsible projects that contribute to the development of the city of Lukavac, Tuzla Canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina have been implemented.
“Lukavac Cement d.o.o. as a leader in cement production in BIH with enviable results achieved during 2023, will continue to act in accordance with its planned business strategy, putting a special focus on innovative development and even better product positioning on domestic and foreign markets. It is very important for us to constantly harmonize economic, environmental and social aspects with the aim of achieving a better, sustainable future. I want to emphasize that the management structure of the company remains exactly the same, without any changes and we continue cooperation with our partners and customers in full capacity” – Stjepan Kumrić, our general director said.
As we are particularly recognized for the use of alternative fuels in our production process and meet all the high standards of the European Union, the change in ownership structure opens up additional opportunities for our further successful progress and development in accordance with the highest standards.
