OVERHAUL OF THE LUKAVAC CEMENT PLANT IN THE FINAL PHASE
In the next few days, the regular winter overhaul of the plant in our factory will be completed.
Thanks to good planning, timely procurement of spare materials, selfless support of all services and synchronization of activities in the field, all works are completed according to the plan and are successfully coming to an end.
Enes Rizvić, our maintenance manager, pointed out that the works on the cement mills and packaging lines have been completed and that the overhaul activity on the raw material mill, coal mill, RDF storage and dosing facilities, rotary kiln, clinker cooler, transport systems as well as and on systems for the production and distribution of compressed air will follow soon.
The ignition of the rotary kiln starts today.
We are particularly pleased that the works conducted during this overhaul affect further increases in the reliability and efficiency of equipment in cement production with the maximum increase in the share of alternative fuels as an important part of our sustainable production.
