SOLIDARITY: LUKAVAC CEMENT FACTORY DONATED PREFABRICATED HOUSES TO FAMILIES FROM PETRINJA
In these difficult times, when many homes in Petrinja were demolished or damaged, it is important to show solidarity and humanity and help people in need. The Lukavac Cement Factory also joined the action of supporting population from the earthquake-affected area in the Republic of Croatia and donated prefabricated houses to two families from Petrinja.
“We immediately decided to help in this dramatic situation. Colleagues from CEDIS, our daughter company in Zagreb, got involved and obtained information about families who urgently need accommodation. We have ordered the construction of prefabricated houses for two families, of five and six members, that will be their replacement home until reconstruction of their houses. We sincerely hope that this will be at least a little help for them and that it will be easier for them to spend the winter in these extremely difficult circumstances” – said Stjepan Kumrić, the General Manager of Lukavac Cement.
Two prefabricated houses worth around 60,000.00 KM, supported by the Lukavac Cement Factory, were recently delivered to Petrinja families.
