STUDENTS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL “LUKAVAC GRAD” VISITED LUKAVAC CEMENT
Yesterday, we hosted special guests in our facilities, students of III-4 grade of the elementary school “Lukavac Grad” and their teacher Lejla Kovačević. In total, 26 children, who visited out factory, expressed happiness and joy to have opportunity to visit a real factory after a long isolation caused by the pandemic.
During the tour of the plant, students got acquainted with the process of cement production and learned how the processed waste can be usefully used as an alternative fuel for energy production.
Today was an extremely pleasant day for us, because after a long time we were able to receive the first guests, students of the elementary school “Lukavac Grad”. We are glad that they showed great interest and asked numerous questions. They truly enjoyed this visit and were impressed by what they saw in the cement plant. For us, this visit is also the beginning of the continuation of our VISIT US project, which offers all interested citizens, students and others the opportunity to visit us and learn more about the Lukavac Cement, modern technology, alternative fuels and their use, but also green energy and environmental protection. With expert support, it is possible to get answers to all questions, as well as information on future projects” – said Nihad Begic, Executive Director for Commercial Affairs and Marketing of Lukavac Cement.
