WE HAVE BECOME THE BUSINESS LEADER OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN BIH IN 2022
At the final awarding ceremony for Business Leaders of Sustainable Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2022, which was held last night, June 30, in Sarajevo, we won in the category of medium-sized companies and became the Business Leader in the field of “Resources and Environment”.
The area “Resources and Environment” recognizes companies that are actively working to reduce their environmental footprint, invest in new technologies and develop their own solutions.
We were among the finalists in the category of medium-sized companies in the areas “People” and “Resources and the Environment”, which is another indicator that we are the leading company in socio-economic sustainability of Bosnia and Herzegovina and continuously creating innovative solutions for a green future.
This important award on behalf of the Lukavac Cement was received by Arijana Moranjkić, our project manager for strategic planning, who thanked the organizers of the competition, the Embassy of Sweden in Sarajevo, the United Nations in BiH and UNDP BiH. She pointed out that this recognition motivates and obliges us to continue to work hard on sustainability and create new values that minimize the footprint on the environment.
