AUSTRIAN AMBASSADOR IN BIH VISITED THE LUKAVAC CEMENT FACTORY
Her Excellency, dr. Ulrike Hartmann, Austrian Ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited our factory on Friday, June 18th, 2021. Accompanied by General Manager Stjepan Kumrić, she visited the production facilities, and briefly expressed her satisfaction with the successful cooperation and nurturing very good economic relations between the two countries.
In October 2001, the Lukavac Cement became a member of the reputable business group Asamer from Austria in one of the most successful privatizations in our country. Today, the factory is 100% owned by Asamer Baustoffe AG. Thanks to large investments and the introduction of modern technologies, the factory has become one of the most modern cement plants in Europe.
It was also pointed out that Austria has been the most significant and largest foreign investor in our country in the last 25 years and this trend will continue in the future.
