LUKAVAC CEMENT RESTARTS PRODUCTION AS OF MAY 30, 2024: MINOR REPAIR ACTIVITIES SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

In the period May 19-29, minor overhaul activities of the plant were performed in Lukavac Cement due to which the rotary kiln line was stopped. The aim of these works was further optimization of production processes.

On Thursday May 30, we are starting production and heating of the rotary kiln. As you know, smoke will appear from the factory due to the drying of the newly installed materials as a result of the above explained process, which will be present until the warm operating mode is established.

Last Friday, our President of the Supervisory Board, Tamás Németh was a guest in a show “Novi dan” on N1 Television.

He presented Talentis International Construction Investments Kft., but also talked about how much has been invested so far in the modernization of our factory, its production capacities, as well as the great commitment to environmental protection, reducing the carbon footprint and other important issues.

By the end of last year, it was announced all over the region that the Hungarian company Talentis International Construction Investments Kft., a member of Talentis Group Zrt. bought our factory.

As already announced, on June 6th, 2024, at 20:00h on the plateau in front of the Lukavac Culture Center, a spectacular concert of our musical stars Dubioza Kolektiv and Divanhana will be held as part of the celebration of 50 years of our presence and work.

LUKAVAC CEMENT: “FAST GROWING COMPANY BIH 2023”

On Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, Lukavac Cement participated in the conference “Fast-growing companies – Heroes of this age” organized by Poslovne Novine at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS).

The conference was dedicated to fast-growing companies. In addition to interesting lectures, Poslovne Novine presented its new web platform adria1000.com, while Lukavac Cement was on the list of the TOP 1000 fast-growing companies from the Adria region.

OVERHAUL OF THE LUKAVAC CEMENT PLANT IN THE FINAL PHASE

In the next few days, the regular winter overhaul of the plant in our factory will be completed.

Thanks to good planning, timely procurement of spare materials, selfless support of all services and synchronization of activities in the field, all works are completed according to the plan and are successfully coming to an end.

COMPLETION OF REGULAR WINTER OVERHAUL IN LUKAVAC CEMENT

On January 6th, Lukavac Cement started the planned works on the winter overhaul of the plant due to which the rotary kiln line was stopped. Production will resume on Tuesday, February 20th, 2024.

The regular overhaul of the plant to optimize the cement production process was conducted by employees of Lukavac Cement and several companies from the country and abroad.

LUKAVAC CEMENT READY FOR NEW CHALLENGESS

The past year at Lukavac Cement was very successful and we are fully ready for new challenges in 2024. We have fulfilled the outlined plans, we are constantly growing and achieving success thanks to the commitment of all employees, but also new knowledge and good ideas.

REGULAR WINTER OVERHAUL IN LUKAVAC CEMENT FACTORY

From January 6^th 2024, the regular overhaul of our plants has been started. The rotary furnace line is stopped and the reheating of the system is planned at the end of February this year.

The clinker production process will start again accordingly. Following the needs of the market, the cement mills are in use.
