LUKAVAC CEMENT PARTICIPATES IN THE ECO FEST “I BIH GREEN”
On Saturday, June 10, the second “I BiH GREEN” festival took place in Sarajevo, aiming to present companies in BiH that embrace, apply, and promote sustainability goals in their operations.
Lukavac Cement presented a new project called “In Friendship with Nature”, primarily created for and aimed at the youngest population, intending to stimulate and develop children’s awareness of the need to protect the environment and the surroundings where we live.
Through interactive workshops for children, we wanted to involve the youngest through play in nature, animate them to learn to plant flowers and send a message how children can contribute to protecting our planet.
At the end of the full-day eco festival program, Lukavac Cement was one of the winners of the GO GREEN STAR award for a special contribution to mitigating climate change.
