OPEN DOOR DAY 2023 AS A SYMBOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
On Saturday, September 16, 2023, the 13th edition of the Open-Door Day was held in the green park of our factory, a traditional event that gathers numerous citizens of Lukavac, Tuzla and beyond. This year, we provided a special focus on ecological and creative programs for children and young people.
Many children were thrilled by the educational and interesting creative workshop “Do it yourself” where they had the opportunity to make and paint objects from cement independently. We also organized a special eco-workshop “Recycling” to encourage their ecological awareness through knowledge and research, play and fun. They were able to learn how important it is to protect our environment and that waste is not garbage and that it can be separated, recycled and reused wisely.
In addition to the corner for babies, animation and carnival games, mascots, and magicians, there was also an art corner reserved for ballerinas and a mini disco for dance lovers.
In order to encourage sport spirit and healthy lifestyle habits, sports activities such as football and volleyball tournaments took place as part of our “Open Door-Day 2023”. With a barbecue, fruit refreshments and special gifts for all children, this year’s event of Lukavac Cement took place in an atmosphere of good fun, socializing and creative learning.
