TEMPORARY HALT IN THE PRODUCTION OF LUKAVAC CEMENT
Lukavac Cement has temporarily suspended production in its production facilities. The planned halt began on October 3, 2022 and will last until the end of this month. This is a common procedure that is carried out due to minor overhaul activities and adequate preparation for the work of cement plant until the end of the year.
Nihad Begić, a member of the Management Board of the Lukavac Cement, emphasized that this suspension has no effect on the sale of cement and clinker as well as end customers, since all other activities are going on smoothly.
Since we are a technologically modern factory, one of our maintenance strategies is preventive maintenance that improves production processes. The ultimate goal is certainly to extend the service duration of the equipment, prevent the occurrence of breakdowns and unplanned halts. The modern equipment of our factory, among other things, enables production in line with the highest ecological standards.
