AFTER THE COMPLETED OVERHAUL, LUKAVAC CEMENT IS STARTING PRODUCTION

In the period October 13 – 25, 2023, Lukavac Cement completed planned overhaul activities on the hot part of the production line.

As a diamond sponsor of the recently held International Conference “Building Sustainable Bosnia and Herzegovina”, Lukavac Cement was presented as an example of good practice in the field of sustainable development and environmental protection. Stjepan Kumrić, general manager and Nedim Pašić, technical director, had the opportunity to participate in important panel discussions at the conference and present the achievements of Lukavac Cement.

They particularly highlighted the process of using alternative fuel as a safe way of valorizing waste that brings multiple benefits both for the social community and the cement plant itself.

LUKAVAC CEMENT AND LUKAVAC BETON AT THE REGIONAL ARCHITECTURE SUMMIT SFERA 2023

We welcome the participation of Lukavac Cement and Lukavac Beton in the exhibition part of the Architecture Summit SFERA 2023, which will take place on October 20-21 at the National Theater in Sarajevo. We will present our products, primarily various types of concrete as well as the possibilities that this material provides when designing buildings.

LUKAVAC CEMENT: “LET’S BUILD A SUSTAINABLE BIH”

Another important international conference on sustainable development and environmental protection “Building a sustainable BiH” will be held on October 19-20, 2023 at the Hills Hotel in Sarajevo.

Stjepan Kumrić, our managing director, will speak in the main panel discussion on the first day of the conference about the company’s complete standardization projects and the progress that Lukavac Cement is making in the “zero waste” sustainable business policy.

ART WORKS COMPETITION “MY MEMBER OF THE FAMILY IN LUKAVAC CEMENT”

An art competition called “My family member at Lukavac Cement” will be organized for the children of our employees.

All children/grandchildren can join the competition and show their abilities and skills in fine arts. This is an excellent opportunity for them to express their imagination and express how they imagine the workplace of their family members in Lukavac Cement from the aspect of work-related safety.
